Orange & Blue Day stands as UTEP's largest open house event, drawing over 2,000 students and their families. This campus-wide event features a spirited opening welcome and a diverse array of activities, including campus tours, college presentations, enrollment workshops, and more. Prospective students take the opportunity to dig deeper into their college of interest, engaging with both students and faculty.
In overseeing all marketing efforts, I managed both traditional and digital advertising, social media promotion, and email communication. Crafting a comprehensive communication plan tailored to specific target markets, encompassing local and state recruitment areas, as well as northern Chihuahua, was a key focus. Recognized as a critical touchpoint, the event plays a pivotal role in assisting students throughout the decision-making process.
